XA5040 lifting Table Milling machine

The XA5040 Lifting Table Milling Machine is a versatile vertical lifting table milling machine widely used in metalworking, machinery manufacturing, mold processing, and component production. As an upgraded and optimized model based on conventional vertical milling machines, it features enhanced rigidity, a larger processing range, and stable performance, making it suitable for both batch production and single-piece precision machining in medium and small workshops.

Core Structure

The XA5040 adopts a vertical layout (spindle axis perpendicular to the worktable) with a robust cast iron structure, ensuring stability during high-load cutting. Its key components include:

  1. Bed and Column
The bed is an integrally cast heavy-duty structure, providing a solid base to withstand cutting forces. The column is vertically mounted on the bed, housing the main spindle drive system and feed transmission mechanisms. Internal gears and shafts are precision-machined to ensure smooth power transmission.
  2. Spindle Unit
The spindle is the core component for tool mounting and power output. It features a 7:24 taper hole (standard for milling machines) to securely hold milling cutters, drills, or reamers. The spindle speed range is 30–1500 r/min (with 18 adjustable speed levels via a gearbox), allowing flexible adaptation to different materials (e.g., carbon steel, cast iron, aluminum) and cutting tools.
  3. Lifting Table and Worktable
    • The worktable is a rectangular cast iron platform with dimensions of approximately 1600mm × 400mm (length × width), larger than that of smaller models, enabling processing of larger workpieces. It is equipped with T-slots for clamping workpieces, vices, or fixtures (e.g., rotary tables, dividing heads).
    • The lifting table (knee) moves vertically (Z-axis) along the column guideways to adjust the worktable height. The worktable itself can move in three directions:
      • Longitudinal (X-axis: front/back)
      • Transverse (Y-axis: left/right)
      • Vertical (Z-axis: up/down via the lifting table)
    • Both manual and power feeds are supported, with power feed rates ranging from 0.05–3 mm/r, ensuring efficiency for roughing and precision for finishing.
  4. Drive and Control System
The main drive is powered by a 7.5 kW motor, transmitting power to the spindle via belts and gears. The feed system uses a separate motor for stable movement. The control panel is user-friendly, with knobs for speed adjustment, levers for feed direction, and an emergency stop button, making operation intuitive even for novice operators.
